We purchase almost anything that is original art. We are looking for original pieces that have proof of their authenticity. If they don't we can expect them for approval as real.
Original Art: These are pieces that were constructed from the artists and are not copies of. These are one of a kind pieces. Since they are original they will not be numbered. The will include a signature and sometimes a gallery number. You may also have certificate proving it is authentic from the artist. We are looking only for original pieces of value.
Mixed Media: This is a piece of art that uses different media's to complete. For example it could be a pen outline on a watercolor painting incorporating both the pen and the watercolor. It could be a poster that was painted over by the artist.
We buy almost all art no matter the value. We have bought pieces well over 100k and as small as $500. We are looking for original art works from notable artists. We buy paintings, sculptures, statues, and any form of art as long as it was produced by a collected and known artist. Below are some definitions of art to help you in what you are selling.
Serigraph: A print made using a stencil process in which an image or design is superimposed on a very fine mesh screen and printing ink is squeegeed onto the printing surface through the area of the screen that is not covered by the stencil. Serigraphs will look a lot like the originals as they will have the texture of an original raised off of the paper.
Lithograph: A lithograph is an authorized copy of an original work created by the artist himself or other skilled craftsmen. If the print quality of a lithograph is excellent and the production numbers are low, it may have significant value in the art world.
What should you expect for a price on your art?
We will gather information from current sold pieces to get an idea of what the current market is paying for your piece or something similar to it. We will not use list prices, gallery prices, or any other evidence of a price that is not a sold item. Sold items are the only way to determine what the market is currently paying. We will look at history solds on ebay.com and auction records to determine the current market of your piece.
We purchase the following artists and more!
